Records

Listening to a vinyl record is a very personal, tactile and engaging ritual. 

It begins with connecting to the artist through the jacket artwork/photography.  Then it leads to the careful positioning and playing of the record.  The sound that comes from a good turntable/speaker system is a sound that cannot be replicated by any digital counterpart.  The pure, original unaltered recordings on vinyl is the purest form of listening to the music in the way the artists intended for it to be heard. 

We love buying and selling records, and a have a stock over 2000 records in almost every genre imaginable. 

We have a turntable to test records on, and a brand new high intensity Record Doctor Vacuum Cleaning machine.

78’s

(The old shellac heavy and fragile records from the early 1900’s -1960.  Generally only 1 song per side)

  • 10” in diameter
  • Looking for Blues and Hard Bop Jazz, Be Bop Jazz and Cool Jazz only.
  • Please, no Vocal, Classical, Orchestral, Opera, Polka, Show Tunes, Country, Easy Listening, Swing or Big Band Jazz.

33’s

(1960-Today) (LP’s)

  • 12” in diameter
  • Looking for Rock & Roll, Heavy Metal, Punk, Funk, Hip Hop, Blues, Jazz, and Other Genres too!
